Our Dorper lambs are born and raised on natural and improved grasses and legumes, grown in the rich, Cainozoic volcanic soils of Mt Domville.

We are a family owned and operated farm practising regenerative farming methods. Our philosophy is to work together with nature, not against it. We aim to mimic nature as closely as possible.

Where’s our farm?

You’ll find Domville Dorpers in the foothills of Mt Domville – about 20km South of Millmerran. That’s about an hour’s drive South West of Toowoomba & about 210km from Brisbane. Mt Domville is the remains of a volcano which erupted 19 – 23 million years ago in what was a freshwater lake, resulting in the rich basalt soils of today.  Our farms are located on and directly benefit from these soils surrounding Mt Domville.

Dorpers have a distinctive black head but there are also White Dorpers which as the name implies, have a white head.
